“PART OF THE SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF OUR CLOTHES TAKE PLACE DURING THE PRODUCTION PROCESS, THE REST IS IN OUR HANDS.”

Sewing Café Lancaster promotes wellbeing and advocates sustainability through skill-sharing with people across the community.

Our work links to:

COMMUNITY
Creating links to share and exchange skills and knowledge around wellbeing and sustainability.

EDUCATION
Providing opportunities for development of skills and knowledge and an awareness of sustainability.

ENTERPRISE
Developing, producing, selling goods and facilitating workshops to enable economic wellbeing.

Our products

All our products use upcycled materials where possible. We like to call them “diverted from landfill” as they are generally on their way to the tip before we rescue, clean and remake them. They are sold through local markets and businesses.

If you are intersted in buying from us, please check our market schedule or purchase directly through Single Step.

You can win a £30 voucher through the Lancaster Food Friends scheme, in support of local, sustainable farming project called The Plot.

Our Naturally dyed Cowls are offered exclusively through Arteria Gallery Shop
