Sewing Café Lancaster is looking to help establish mending stations around the city.
Our main interest is to raise awareness about the textile industry, we could supply a list of books and films to help on that and would accompany the process during two or three sessions, bringing haberdashery, samples and knowledge, with the idea that the groups/institutions have a couple of people to move it forward.
So far we are setting up one at one of the universities, a school and a church.
